gledano sa aspekta velikog fana ove igre i lorea iz iste, i ja bih voleo da vidim to krljanje, raspadanje, gromove, muradina, saurfanga itd.
ali realno gledano, blizz se nece toliko pomuciti, odradice neki fajt bez svega toga (tipa ilidan) i bolece ih uvo

mada, fajt sa lich kingom mogao bi da bude slag na tortu, nesto cime bi krunisali ovu igru i svoj rad u prethodne 4 godine

ah, mozemo mi ovako da mastamo, ali ko zna sta nam oni spremaju :)

Arthas will be, unsurprisingy, the last boss in the Icecrown Citadel. Players will receive 4 orbs of clarity from an NPC (hello mystery) before the fight. The staging grounds will be a rectangle 100 by 50 yards, and the fight is split into 5 phases, every phase putting the raid to test a different aspect of the game.

Pre phase

Arthas sits on his frozen throne and is pulled when someone gets within 50 yards. After some conversation, he plunges Frostmourne into the ground and the ground immediately sinks deep underground (see the new graphics engine coming into play?), carrying Arthas on his throne and the raid onto the 100x50 stage.

Phase ONE

Arthas sits invulnerable in the middle of the fight. He summons four sentinel of pure frozen rocks, which spawns from the four corners. Arthas will do a massive mass dispel, which removes every buff from everyone, then inflict them with a debuff called Death Trail

Death Trail: Silenced. Leaves a trail of death when moving. Anyone who crosses the trail takes 7k damage. Also, if a player remains stationary, he will take 9k-10k damage.

The sentinels have 1.5million hp each and are invulnerable. They can only be damaged by orbs of clarity.

Orb of clarity: Does 100, 000 damage, or heals a friendly target for 7, 000. May not target self. Bounces to next nearest friendly player after thrown. 25 yards range. 25 charges.

The sentinels will move at a slightly faster pace than default player run speed and hits for 15k-17k on plate. No threat, hits nearest target.

Phase ends when all sentinels are downed. Orbs and trails will be removed. Silence lifted. This phase tests the raid on individual skills regardless of class, kiting and watching health bars of people who need heals, and moving in an organized pattern. With practice, it is possible to complete the phase without taking damage. Also, if the raid takes too long, they will find that they have nowhere left to run because of the long death trails around.


Phase TWO

Arthas finds your power interesting and thus, with the will of the Lich King, does one thing he does best. He mind controls 3 of your players with the highest damage from the previous phase, bestow them a legendary weapon each based on class, boosts their stats by 500% and hp by 1500%. He then proceeds to summon more undeads from each corner, which are 80-81 elites but easily aoe'ed, and those are continually spawned throughout the phase.

Arthas will aoe everyone for 5k damage right after the cinematics have ended and the phase officially starts. The mind controlled players will reset aggro every 6 seconds. Arthas himself remains invulnerable but casts Heartstopper randomly throughout the phase.

Heartstopper : Deals damage according to player's current hp. 30 sec cd. The actual formula is simple, as follow : 2 x (current hp) / (max hp) x 100

As each mind controlled player die, they will be stunned and be in a kneeling position showcasing their legendary weapons until the end of the phase.

The phase ends when all mind controlled players are freed by dying. They get to keep the weapons for the remainder of the fight but the 500% stats boosts are removed. This phase tests player on mechanisms previously unfound. If a raid is good enough, they can pick who will get MC'ed. With Heartstopper around, no one is to be at full hp at anytime or they risk being instantly killed by heartstopper. The undeads being summoned serve the purpose of lowering those players' hp (by aggroing them).


PHASE THREE


Arthas is angered by your power, and the fact that you freed the people he mind controls.

"There is a price for my power, just as I have paid it.."

The mystery NPC who gave you the orb then comes in, does some conversation. Arthas is apparantly more angered by his words, and begins casting a stronger summon spell. This time, as you might have guessed, frostwyrms.

The phase starts with the mystery NPC healing your legendary players to full, then buffing them with Plea of Innocence.

Plea of Innocence : speed increase (max speed) for 7 seconds, then cause Despondency.
Despondency : rooted, healing effects on you reduced by 100%.

Frostwyrms will spawn continuously from all corners and aggro only the 3 legendary players. The 3 players have the simplest role of DPSing Arthas in this phase, because only they can. The rest of the players will DPS down frostwyrms while dealing with the permanent death and decay Arthas throws around. The D&D have a minimum range of 10 yards, and do 10k per 2 sec ticks, unresistable.

Every 45 seconds, an Elder Frostwyrm will spawn from a random corner. All DPS have to focus on it and down it within 25 seconds. At the end of each of that 25 seconds. Arthas will aoe the raid for 99% of their hp. The Elder Frostwyrm drops a Corrupted Essence, which creates a shield in a 10 yard radius which prevents all damage for 15 seconds.

The phase ends when Arthas reach 70% hp. Death and decays will be removed. This phase tests the DPS' reactions, and their damage sustainability. It also serves as a mana recovery phase for the healers who have probably depleted their mana in phase 2, and will need them full by phase 4.


PHASE FOUR

The mystery NPC does something and attempt to break Arthas' will from the Lich King Ner'zhul's and succeeds. The raid now sees some impressive cinematics going on and the Lich King splits into two of his incarnations, Arthas the death knight, and Ner'zhul the warlock. One at each end of the stage, Arthas' side growing with new albeit brief signs of life, while Ner'zhul's still an eternal blight. Arthas apparantly thrilled by the new power he is witnessing.

Ner'zhul : NO ! You seek to free him ?! He is Mine and MINE ALONE !
Arthas : Outstanding ! Can you do more than that ? Can you possibly hold more strength than the Lich King ? Can you possibly possess the power I seek ?! SHOW ME !

The main phase of the fight. The stage is split into two, life side and death side, each lich king rooted at their respective territory.

Arthas' abilities : (melees for 10k-12k on plate)
The Condemned One : debuff on current aggro. Causes Condemned by the Light on healers healing target.
Condemned by the Light : +500 healing to target with The Corrupted One and -1000 healing to target with The Condemned One. Stacks to 3.
United We Stand : Chooses 2 random targets standing in Life side. Takes 4k damage per 2 sec tick until they are in 10 yds of each other.
Pure Power : Drains a Frostwyrm flying above of its power, banishing it to underground. 50% damage buff.
Death Pact : Sacrifices a Frostwyrm flying above to heal self to full. Used only if there is no melee target in range.

Ner'zhul's abilities : (10 yards range, casts unkickable bolts of random element doing up to 13k damage.)
The Corrupted One : debuff on current aggro. Causes Taint of Darkness on healers healing target. Does not take damage from blight.
Taint of Darkness : +500 healing to target with The Condemned One and -1000 healing to target with The Corrupted One. Stacks to 3.
Chain Frost : Releases 2 frostbolts (moves slow while airbourne)at 2 random targets in Life side, bounces until there is no next available target in 15 yds.
Impure Power : Drains a frostwyrm of its power, banishing its underground, 50% attack speed buff.
World of Chaos : Checks to see if total no. of people on death side equals to total no. of people on life side. If not, deals 10-12k global damage. 2 sec cast, 30 sec cd.
Death Pact : See above.

Drained Frostwyrms burrow underground and move around for a while, then burrows up and attack players. ~130k hp
Drained Frostwyrm abilities :
AOE knockback when burrowing up
Bolt of Innocence : 2.5k damage + causes Unstability. 2 sec cast. chain cast.
Unstability : 100% damage reduction. Untargettable by Drained Frostwyrms. 8 sec duration.

Players who stand on the blight also receive a 500damage per 3 sec tick dot + debuff increasing shadow damage taken by 300. The debuff lasts 15 seconds.

Arthas and Ner'zhul still draw from the same source of power, so they share a health pool. When that health pool reaches 15%, the phase ends. This phase is a heavy moving phase, while still maintaining a decent amount of dps and healing. It tests the raid abilities on their ability to watch the situation across the room while maintaining dps, and reacting suitably. It tests the raid leader of his ability to plan and handle different situation simultaneously. DPS have to cycle around or the dot stack from the blight will cause the damage to be unhealable. Healers will have to set up a rotation and dance between the 2 tanks because of the debuff.


PHASE FIVE

Arthas breaks his will from the Lich King. He seeks to escape from Ner'zhul.


Ovo je nesto sto je,kao,"procurelo" u beti....ne secam se tacno sa kog sajta sam ovo prekopirao......U osnovi,meni se ova ideja svidja,samo sto mi je kraj malo budjav...ali,ta peta faza jos nije ni dovrsena.... :D

Jednostavno,bilo bi previse tupavo da jednog od najomrazenijih likova u citavom loreu odjednom "preobrate"....

Tolko o tome da vidimo Arthasa as good man.
Sto se mene tiche treba ga ubiti. A sto se tiche Illidana, Blizzard je napravio totalnu glupost, napravivsi da 40 nebitnih heroja killuju lika koji je ziveo 10,000 godina. A ako mi naprave da Arthas postane good man again, onda su stvarno prevazisli sve... Mada ne bi me ni cudilo s'obzirom da je Illidan preziveo fight ispred Frozen Throna, iako smo svi videli da ga je Arthas presekao na pola -.-

ne bih ja to pravio kao instancu...
pre kao neki malo duzi chain gde bi se radilo recimo desetak kvestova za svakog kralja horde/alijanse pa da se na kraju gospoda skupe i otepaju LK-a, a ti sedis i gledas... nesto kao pocetak igre sa DK....

Nemoguce je i nikada se nece desiti da bude samo chain. Jer, jedini osecaj epic bossa jeste na kraju instance sto dokazuje C'Thun i Nefarian na primer. Ko ih je downovao prvi put u zivotu zna osecaj ^^

Moze biti da ce Horde and Alliance to stand united once again against the Lich King... Ne bi me cudilo da u eventu pkada krene encounter protiv Lich Kinga, Dodju King Varion i Thrall i mozda jos neko i zajednim snagama da udare na lich kinga.
Ovo vam dodje isto ako ste igrali War3, pa kad su Jaina i Thrall zajedno ucestvovali u borbi protiv Archimonde.
Sigurno je da ce neko pomoci u borbi protiv Lich Kinga. Razlog po meni bi bio zato sto njega ne mogu da ubiju smrtnici. Kapiram da ce da dodju sigurno Darion i Tirion Fordring koji ce da zada finalni udarac sa Ashbringer.
Nesto od ovoga sto sam napisao sigurno ce biti :)

Ovo je samo moje verovanje jer po meni Ashbringer je nesto jedino sto moze da se suprodstavi Frostmourne...

Lazes. :P Postoje jos najmanje dva oruzja koja mogu da sjebu Frostmourne,a to su Gorribal i Taeshalach... :D

Salim se....nego,nije losa ni ta ideja da se neki od "poznatih" pojave u fightu....Mozda bi medj njih mogao da se svrsta i Mal'Ganis,jer,ono,njega je Arthas zajebo,pa on oce osvetu i tako to....

Uglavnom,nesto epic. :D

Ja iskreno mislim da ce bossevi pre Licha biti nesto ultra zajebani i taman da dodjete pojavi se Sargeras koji je zaposet od Aegwynna i da ju je Medivh ressurectovao i Sargeras oneshottuje licha i eto to je to :D

Pa realno pravi encounter od 100% do 0% hp-a je odlican, dinamican, i najepic sto se tice kraja (ne samo cinematic ali sve u paketu). Samo mi smeta to sto Tirion sedi beskorisno ceo fajt do 10% ali pretpostavljam da nisu znali kako da ga ubace da bude korisniji u fajt a da ne bude OP. Mada, ako je Muradin mogao da pomogne da se popnete u upper spire, mogao je odma da odleti na frozen throne i da upuca LK-a sa onim topovima ^^
